OUR MISSION
The mission of JBoomers is to harness the energy of the Jewish Baby Boomer cohort and keep them involved in Jewish communal life. Rather than allowing Jewish Baby Boomers to slip away from connection with the Jewish community,  JBoomers seeks to tap into their abilities and focus them into becoming a transformative force for Jewish renewal and revival across all Jewish generations. JBoomers seeks to be a model to the “next gen” cohort what can be done in a later stage in their lives.

WHY JBOOMERS?
The Jewish Baby Boomer generation make up 20% of the Jewish Community. JBoomers view the “retirement” life stage as an opportunity for activity, creativity and involvement. All the literature concerning the Baby Boomer generation shows they have a strong desire to “give back” something of significance to society. Therefore, JBoomers seeka to create a web site to foster social networking that will feature links for JBoomer opportunities for hands on tikkun olam service, Jewish learning, spiritual fulfillment, as well as emotional and physical health, and Jewish travel.
